Community Rules | Hamro Sano Sansar

Hamro Sano Sansar is a community platform for Nepali people in the United States. These Community Rules explain what we expect from users when they post, message, list jobs or rentals, use the marketplace, promote businesses, share events, or interact with others.

Violations may lead to content removal, feature limits, membership/access changes, account suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

HSS helps people connect, but users must verify details before acting. We do not guarantee users, listings, payments, safety, accuracy, or outcomes.

1. Be respectful

No harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, or targeted abuse
No hate speech, discrimination, or demeaning content based on identity, origin, caste, religion, gender, immigration status, or other protected traits
No doxxing or sharing another person’s private information without permission

2. Be honest

Post only accurate jobs, rentals, marketplace items, businesses, events, and community information
Do not impersonate another person, business, or organization
Do not hide important fees, conditions, risks, or availability details
Do not create fake engagement, duplicate accounts, or misleading listings

3. No scams, spam, or unsafe behavior

No scams, phishing, fraud, fake payment requests, or suspicious financial activity
No spam, mass messaging, duplicate posting, or automated abuse
No illegal goods, stolen goods, counterfeit items, or prohibited services
No adult content, graphic violence, or content that makes the community unsafe

4. Jobs, rentals, marketplace, events, and businesses

Users and businesses are responsible for their posts and listings. HSS may moderate or remove listings, but we do not independently guarantee every job, rental, item, business, event, user, payment, or outcome.

Verify details before applying, paying, traveling, meeting, signing, or sharing personal information
Meet safely and use caution with payments or deposits
Report suspicious or misleading content inside the app
Business Access is free and invite-only, and business listings must represent real services honestly

5. Membership and feature access

Active Sadasya membership unlocks full app features. Membership helps support platform operations and community safety, but it does not guarantee visibility, responses, transactions, jobs, rentals, sales, or any specific result.

6. Reporting and moderation

Use in-app reporting tools for posts, listings, profiles, or messages that violate these rules. Reports help our team review abuse, scams, safety concerns, and fraud. For urgent or sensitive issues, email us.

7. Age guidance

Accounts, posting, messaging, rentals, jobs, marketplace activity, and payments are recommended for users 18 and older.

Child Safety Standards

Hamro Sano Sansar strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, exploitation, sexualization of minors, requests for sexual content involving minors, attempts to contact minors for exploitation, or any activity that endangers children are not allowed.

Users can report child safety concerns in the app using available report and safety tools. Users can also contact us at admin@hamrosanosansar.com.

Hamro Sano Sansar may remove content, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence, and report to appropriate regional or national authorities when required by law, safety needs, or platform policy.

Hamro Sano Sansar is intended for adults 18+ because it includes jobs, rentals, marketplace listings, messaging, membership/payment features, and real-world contact.
