Welcome to Hamro Sano Sansar ("HSS", "we", "us", or "our"). HSS is a community platform for Nepali people in the United States, built to help users discover community posts, jobs, rentals, marketplace items, local businesses, events, and messages in one place.
By using HSS, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Rules.
HSS is a community platform, not a guarantee. Users are responsible for verifying details before acting and for their own posts, messages, listings, transactions, meetings, and interactions.
Clause 01
Eligibility
Accounts, posting, messaging, rentals, jobs, marketplace activity, and payments are recommended for users 18 and older. By using the platform, you confirm that you can follow these Terms and all applicable laws.
Clause 02
Public website and app features
The HSS public website is informational and download-focused. There is no website login or public account dashboard. Community activity happens inside the mobile app.
Clause 03
User responsibilities
You are responsible for your account activity and for the content and interactions you create through HSS, including posts, messages, listings, jobs, rentals, marketplace items, business information, events, transactions, payments, meetings, and communications with other users.

- Verify job, rental, marketplace, business, event, payment, and meeting details before acting
- Use care when meeting people, sending payments, or sharing personal information

Clause 04
No guarantees
HSS does not guarantee jobs, rentals, marketplace items, businesses, events, users, payments, safety, accuracy, availability, legality, quality, identity, or outcomes. Listings and messages are generally created by users or businesses, and users must independently verify details before relying on them.
Clause 05
Membership and access
Active Sadasya membership unlocks full app features. Membership supports the community platform, moderation, storage, servers, security, and ongoing development. Membership does not guarantee any job, rental, sale, transaction, match, response, visibility, or other outcome.
Business Access is free and invite-only. We may approve, deny, remove, or limit Business Access to protect the quality and safety of the community.
Subscriptions, purchase status, and entitlements may be handled by Google Play and RevenueCat where applicable. Refunds, cancellations, and subscription management may be subject to app store rules and user app store account settings.
Clause 06
Payments, transactions, and meetings
HSS is not a payment processor, employer, housing provider, landlord, real estate broker, marketplace seller, escrow service, background-check service, transportation provider, or safety guarantor. Any payment, purchase, rental discussion, employment discussion, meeting, or other transaction is between users or third parties.
Clause 07
Content and moderation
You keep ownership of content you post, but you give HSS permission to host, display, store, moderate, and share that content as needed to operate the platform. We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or take other action if we believe content or behavior violates our Terms, Community Rules, safety standards, or law.
Clause 08
Acceptable use
You agree not to use HSS to post scams, fake listings, misleading information, spam, harassment, hate speech, adult or graphic content, illegal content, impersonation, unauthorized promotions, or content that violates another person's rights or safety.
Clause 09
Third-party services
HSS may rely on third-party services such as Supabase, Cloudinary, RevenueCat, Google/Firebase services, Expo services, app stores, hosting providers, analytics, diagnostics, and other infrastructure providers. Their services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Clause 10
Account and data deletion
Account/data deletion is request-based. To request deletion, email admin@hamrosanosansar.com or use the in-app path: Account → Contact / Request → Privacy / account deletion / other.
Some records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, dispute handling, subscription/payment records, or audit logs.
Clause 11
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
HSS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSS and its operators are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages related to use of the platform, user content, user interactions, listings, payments, meetings, or outcomes.
Clause 12
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this website, and continued use of HSS after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
